Barrier style optical turnstiles provide an increased level of security by means
of a physical barrier. The barriers are normally extended, then retract
into the turnstile housing when a valid card signal is received from the card access
systems.
The barriers remain in the retracted position while the person
passes through the lane, then reset to the extended position when the lane is
cleared.

A barrier bypass function allows the turnstiles to operate
barrier-free to accommodate heavy traffic or emergency situations.
Our barrier-style turnstiles enable you to
maintain complete control of access to your facility while reducing security personnel costs.
All models feature tailgate detection and interface
with virtually all card readers and access control systems.
All dual-barrier models are ADA compliant. Both
swing arm and retractable wing barriers are available.
